I saw this post about how scurvy effects the human body and its so damned wild. The collagen or whatever it is that holds your scars in place disappears so all your old wounds open up. And we're talking all of them. Cuts and scrapes? Open. Surgery scars? Open. Internal lacerations from surgery or medical conditions? Reopen.
Scurvy is just the Thanos snap but slow and painful.
Moral of the story? Eat y'all oranges...

Moral of the story? Eat y'all oranges... Right? We fortify many foods with Vitamin C so the likely hood of getting scurvy is nearly impossible. Yet it is starting to come back in children and adults eating exclusively fast food diets. Today we got people going crazy on Vitamin C packets thinking it will help prevent a bunch of things. This was mainly caused by cleaver marketing by the company that produces the packets making it look like doctors recommend it. Also Vitamin C packets will do nothing for a cold or the flu. An actual orange or pineapple will help due to the additional enzymes contained in the flesh that support the absorption Vitamin C. Pineapples have bromelain enzyme that helps with cough suppression. In Pineapples theses a proteolytic enzyme that can help breakdown mucous, funny enough this same enzyme will make adding pineapple to jello near impossible.

In the 1800's Daniel Steibelt was one of Europe's most renowned piano virtuosos, went to Vienna. Steibelt and Beethoven competed in a musical contest/duel. "Beethoven picked up the sheet music that Steibelt had tossed aside, and chose to play it upside down. Beethoven then proceeded to improvise an opus based on just three notes of Steibelt’s music. He created his own “storm,” he embellished, and mocked what he felt was Steibelt’s simplistic piece." Beethoven won and Steibelt never returned to Vienna. Well recorded and if you want to read more: historycollection.co/man-thought-beat-beethoven-musical-duel/Quotes was taken directly from website above.
